Malindo Air Sets to Expand by This Year
Malindo Air is ready to expand their business, with more aircrafts to more destinations. Currently the airline has 2 aircraft, with plan to add 1 aircraft per month, which will total up a dozen or more by end of this year. The use of B737-900ER will offer 180 seats (with ability of able to fly non-stop for five-and-a-half hours) , with 12 45-inch seats business class and the rest, 32-inch seats economy class. As a hybrid airlines, on top of basic flight trip, Malindo Air offers ‘upgrade’ add-ons, such as personal TV and WiFi at a right cost.
The B737-900ER aircraft is set to make its first flight this Friday (22 March) to Kota Kinabalu, while flight to Kuching will be on Saturday (23 March). The current promotion is as low as RM68 to KK and RM38 to Kuching, both from KL. It is believed that there will be 4 flights to KK and 3 flights to Kuching daily, from KL.
Malindo Air planned to expand its route from Kuala Lumpur to three more points in Sarawak, namely Sibu, Bintulu and Miri by June. And by year-end, to Southeast Asia, China and India.

Malindo Air First Flight Launch on 22 March
Malindo Air will launch its first flight on the 22 March 2013, with offer of all-inclusive fare starts at RM38 for flight to Kuching and RM68 to Kota Kinabalu.
Malindo Air will be operating using Boeing 737-900ER planes with a capacity of 180 seats each, and can serve travelling within a five-and-a-half hour range.
Using hybrid airline approach, Malindo Air offers low air fares and passengers can opt for additional comfort services at a surcharge, such as personal television screen at each seat and WiFi service, which is expected to be available by June.
Hand carry wise, economy class entitled passenger for free 15kg checked-in baggage allowance while business class travellers get a 30kg allowance.
